NorthEast United FC take on Delhi Dynamos in the 49th game of the Indian Super League this season on Saturday, and both teams are expected to dish out some quality performance to make the progress to the ISL playoffs a reality.

The teams know that a mere draw wouldn't suffice on the day; only a win can. If the home team bags the three points, they move to the second position in the table with a game remaining in the league season, while Delhi Dynamos move to the second spot with two games on hand.

It will be now or never for NorthEast United FC to achieve what they could not the last time -- qualify for the playoffs. Cesar Farias' side will be going all-out to record the full six available points from their remaining two games to reach the semis. They have a win and a draw from their previous two games, and are up for the upcoming two games as well.

"It's a final for us, we have two finals coming up but Delhi is the more important final at the moment. Delhi and Pune are two direct opponents, they are also fighting for qualification, so every point is important," Venezuelan coach Farias said in the pre-match briefing.

For Delhi Dynamos coach Roberto Carlos, it's all about becoming the second team after Atletico de Kolkata to make it to the playoffs of the ISL. "For us the goal remains the same which is to get to the semis," the ex-Brazil international said.

"The game [against NorthEast United] is going to be a very important match as have been the others. Obviously, now we only have three games before the semis."

The first leg saw a 1-1 draw at the JLN Stadium in the national capital, and it remains to be seen whether the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium in Guwahati can turn out to be a good fortune for NorthEast United FC this time around.
