When CBS' hit legal drama "The Good Wife" airs it's latest instalment, Season 7 Episode 16, certain truths about Alicia (Julianna Marguiles) and Peter's relationship will become clear. The lawyer will cut short a weekend with her boyfriend Jason in order to help her husband.

Last week's episode, titled "Targets," captured the FBI's interest in Peter Florrick (Chris Noth). However, his campaign manager Eli Gold (Alan Cumming) hired a lawyer to uncover the agency's motives. As the episode progressed, her conflict of interest became clear and Eli hired her ex-husband Mike Tascioni to defend the governor of Illinois.

Episode 16, titled "Hearing", will depict Peter's trial by a grand jury. "Glee" star Matthew Morrison will guest star as the U.S. Attorney.

In the upcoming instalment, Peter's lawyer Tascioni will be joined by Alicia and Eli, who will put their heads together to try and find out what charges will be levelled against Peter. If they manage to uncover the state's motive, they could have an upper hand in their defence.

However, saving Peter from the law will come at a great cost for Alicia. She will leave her boyfriend Jason Crouse (Jeffrey Dean Morgan).  Will he be put off by her choice to be with Peter?
