Sansa Stark
Sansa Stark may emerge as a powerful figure in the north.Facebook/Game of Thrones

If there's one ambition that's taken over Sansa Stark, it is winning against the Boltons. The eldest daughter of Ned and Catelyn will plot, be relentless and won't show mercy to those who've wronged her. So, will Littlefinger survive her wrath in the upcoming instalment, "Game of Thrones" Season 6 episode 5?

[Potential spoilers ahead]

From promo for "The Door," it seems like Petyr Baelish aka Littlefinger (Aidan Gillen) might just live to see the end of Season 6. The promo for episode 5, in which Sansa (Sophie Turner) asks the former Master of Coin: "Did you know about Ramsay?" does seem to indicate that she is willing to give him one more chance. And for Littlefinger, that presents a small window of opportunity.

In the upcoming episode, the Lord of Harrenhal will no doubt ask for forgiveness, holding out the promise of a large army from the Vale. This could compel Sansa to let him live, considering the fact that she is quite desperate for allies.

In fact, Petyr's presence in Castle Black could motivate Sansa and Jon Snow to craft a strategy, one that will allow them to seek allies in their war against Boltons. The synopsis (via TV Guide) for episode 5 indicates Brienne (Gwendoline Christie) will undertake an important mission. Could this have anything to do with her journey to Riverrun?

Brienne was seen standing against a House Tully banner in the trailer for "Game of Thrones" Season 6. Fans of the show will remember that Catelyn's uncle Blackfish is still alive. Will Brienne win another ally for the Starks? This seems likely.

Elsewhere in episode 5, Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) will meet Kinvara, a new red priestess. He will try to forge an alliance with the follower of the Lord of Light, who seems to believe Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) is the chosen one.

In the previous episodes of Season 6, the people of Meereen turned to the Red God when Daenerys disappeared. It seems as if Tyrion and Varys will use the priestess to highlight the Khaleesi's importance until she makes her way back to Mereen with her Dothraki army.
