The trailer for Season 7 of "The Walking Dead" was released at the San Diego Comic-Con and it introduced viewers to The Kingdom. As expected, nothing was hinted about the person who was killed by Negan in the Season 6 finale, and we didn't see much of Rick or his gang, as it would have spoiled who was the Season 6 finale casualty.

Negan:
The trailer featured a lot of Negan, and it looks like the upcoming season will focus a lot on the character who is touted to be one of the worst villains to come out of Robert Kirkman's "The Walking Dead" comics, which is the source material for the AMC show.

Greg Nicotero, who directed the season opener, revealed in an earlier interview that Season 7 will feature more rants from the villain as he is the sort of guy who loves to hear his own voice.

"Negan is that kind of guy," he told Entertainment Weekly. "He's the kind of guy who imagines himself on stage at a high school production and he loves every second of it. So, I don't really see a lot of quiet contemplative moments with Negan. I feel like with Negan it's really going to be about him gesticulating and him sort of relishing in the sound of his own voice while he commands the stage in front of whoever's alive."

Rick:
During "The Walking Dead" Comic-Con panel, Nicotero also added that the season opener, which will reveal Negan's victim, will be intense. "It affected me in a way I didn't expect. Rick was reduced to no control," he said.

Ezekiel:
Ezekiel is the leader of The Kingdom, yet another colony of survivors, and the character will be introduced in the first half of Season 7. Ezekiel will be played by Khary Payton.

Negan's victim:
If the show follows its source material, then Glenn will be the one to die. But according to The Spoiling Dead Fans, Negan might kill two of Rick's men, the other being Abraham.

The trailer:

"The Walking Dead" will return to AMC in October.
