Fans of Robert Kirkman's "The Walking Dead" comics are already worried that Season 6 of the AMC drama would follow the books, resulting in Glenn dying at the end of the season.

Glenn dies shortly after Negan, the leader of a group of survivors named Saviors, makes his appearance in Issue 100 of the comic books. And if rumours are to be believed, Steven Yeun's character would have the same fate.

Glenn won't be the only alleged casualty of Season 6. According to The Spoiling Dead Fans, a spoiler forum, a character named Carter will die in the first episode of the upcoming season.

The premiere episode is entitled "First Time Again". According to the synopsis, "Rick and the others have a difficult time assimilating into Alexandria; a new threat arises that could bring the group closer together."

As for Carter, not much is known about his pre-apocalypse life. In the television drama, the role of Carter will be essayed by Ethan Embry. "Ethan plays a combo of a few characters that we actually haven't hit yet or weren't able to hit in other characters," showrunner Scott Gimple told Entertainment Weekly in an earlier interview. "He is an Alexandrian, and has been there the whole time, just quite busy."

It is not immediately known how much time has passed between the events of the Season 5 finale and Season 6, but Carter and Rick appear to be at odds when the show returns.

Here are a few other spoilers from the Season 6 premiere, thanks to The Spoiling Dead Fans.

Q - Why is there such a large herd of walkers?
A - It's not explained in the premiere why there are so many walkers in the quarry but it looks awesome. It appears they have simply ended up there and fallen in.

Q - Who is Rick pointing his gun at when he says the line, "Do you have any idea...."
A - Carter

Q - What is Rick's plan at the quarry and how does it backfire?
A - The plan is to remove the herd of walkers out of the quarry before they break free and head into town. It basically backfires as the quarry barricade breaks before they are ready so they have to improvise.
Then something happens at the end of the episode that leaves us at a cliffhanger.

Q - Does Carol's charade still go unnoticed?
A - Yes, but not by everyone.

Q - Has Tara fully recovered?
A - She is still in bed recovering but able to talk.

Q - What happens between Rick and Father Gabriel?
They only have a short scene when Gabriel is trying to help bury the bodies. Rick is very cold to Gabriel and does not want him to help with anything.

Q - Is there any conflict between Morgan and Rick? How does their reunion go?
A - Not really any conflict in the premiere, just a little moment with some walkers later in the episode. They have a short chat at the start, nothing special and then have some nice little one on ones later.

"The Walking Dead" returns to AMC on 11 October.
