'Iru Mugan Trailer'
The trailer of "Iru Mugan" introduces the viewers to the main characters in the movie. Vikram will be seen in dual roles of a RAW agent (Akhilan) and the protagonist (Love). The video is loaded with necessary commercial ingredients and clearly shows that the film is set in Malaysia.

Nithya Menen plays the role of Akhilan's colleague named Ayushya and Nayanthara enacts the role (Halena) of the hero's love interest in the film. The trailer is visually rich and gets full marks in technical aspects. Be it background music or cinematography, both the departments take quality of the trailer to the next level.

Vikram steals the show with his multiple avatars. As the undercover agent, he dons a thick beard and mustache as well as clean-shaven avatar. But it is his act as a transgender villain that hogs the limelight. Coming to the film's heroines, Nithya Menen makes her presence felt and Nayanthara looks beautiful in her glamorous avatars.

On a whole, the trailer has lived up to the expectations.

"A thriller dealing about changing hormones using chemicals. A transgender person changing his hormones to become straight, [sic]" journalist Christopher Kanagaraj ‏tweeted about the storyline of the film.
