Varun Dhawan's "Judwaa 2" has caught everyone's attention, as he will be stepping into Salman Khan's shoes with it. But what's really going to get fans hooked is the potential leading lady of the film Aisha Sharma, who is a Kingfisher model and actress Neha Sharma's sister.
"The makers were on the lookout for a fresh face to be paired opposite one of the characters Varun plays (he has a double role in the film) and Aisha fit the bill. She was to make her film debut last year with a Telugu film, but was replaced by Raashi Khanna in that film," DNA quoted a source as saying.
That's not all, there have been rumours, which suggest Pakistani actress Mawra Hocane too is being considered for the role opposite Varun. Sonakshi Sinha and Kareena Kapoor could also be a part of it, The Express Tribune reports. Shraddha Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Alia Bhatt are a few names, which have been loosely associated with the film.
Meanwhile, Varun is a bundle of nerves about reprising Salman's role. He said it was a big responsibility adding that he needed to prove himself. "It is very difficult to play double role. I still have a lot of time. Scripting is still going on. It is definitely a new thing for me and I am quite nervous as well as excited about it," he told the Press Trust of India.
Despite best efforts, makers haven't quite been successful in keeping crucial details from the look test (held in Los Angeles) a secret. "Fast & Furious 6" action-coordinator Spiro Razatos has already shot a sky-diving sequence with a stand-in artiste, reports The Times of India.
Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and helmed by David Dhawan, the film could feature Karisma Kapoor in a special number.
