As the world is waiting to celebrate Valentine's Day, a new app is making its way to iOS smartphone and tablets, which would remind the users to send romantic messages or texts to their dear ones.

Dubbed 'Romantimatic', the app has been designed and developed by Greg Knauss, a web and software developer, who has been married for 18 years. The necessity for an app like 'Romantimatic' came to existence when Knauss realized that he sometimes forgets to tell his wife that he loves her.

The users can set the time and frequency of reminders and send love messages like "I love you", "I miss you" or "You make me happy" to their loved ones. One can select simple messages like I love you from the options in the app or can go for long messages like "Totally swamped, but can't get you off my mind," "Heading into a meeting, but wanted to tell I'm thinking about you," "You make me happy," and many more.

"Even with the amazing technology we have in our pockets, we can fly through the day without remembering to send a simple 'I love you' to the most important person in our lives. Romantimatic can help," read the app description on its website.

The app also allows users to personalise messages. The app is available for download at iTunes now for $1.99. Though there is no Android version of the app as of now; reports suggest that the  'Romantimatic' app will soon arrive on Andorid phones too.
