Adivi Sesh's last week's release "Kshanam" has continued to keep the cash register ringing at the US box office in the second weekend. It has made better collection than "Guntur Talkies," "Shourya" and "Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gadha" (KVPG).

"Kshanam" was released in over 27 cinema halls across North America on Feb. 26. Having received a superb opening, the movie maintained rock-steady at the ticket counters on the following days. The film collected approximately $82,148 at the US box office in the first week and topped the US business chart for Telugu movies, beating "Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gadha."

Trade experts in T-Town predicted that "Kalyana Vaibhogame," "Guntur Talkies" and "Shourya" would slow down the collection of "Kshanam" in its second week. But to everyone's surprise, the Adivi Sesh and Adah Sharma-starrer undeterred by the new release. Its business dropped considerable on its second Friday, but it showed a decent growth on Saturday and Sunday.

In its second weekend, "Kshanam" has collected $28,889 from 20 screens at the US box office and its 10-day US total collection stands at $111,037 (Rs 74.68 lakh). Its per-screen average is $1,444. The movie has landed in the second place, while "Kalyana Vaibhogame" topped the US collection chart for Telugu movies with its collection $142,011 (Rs 95.51 lakh).

"Guntur Talkies," which was released in 20 screens in the country, has collected $6,009 (Rs 4.05 lakh) from 15 screens at the US box office in the first weekend. Manchu Manoj's "Shourya" has collected $5,124 (Rs 3.45 lakh) from 60 screens at the US box office in its opening weekend. "Guntur Talkies" and "Shourya" have landed the third and fourth spots, respectively, in the US collection chart.

Trade experts had predicted the new releases would force Nani's thee-week old movie out of all the theatres in the country. But "Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gadha" has managed to retain nine screens and collected $3,464 at the US box office in its fourth weekend. Its 24 US total stands $771,044 (Rs 5.19 crore).
