A witness from Randlelt in Washington has recently come forward to report how he felt a beam of white light on himself while witnessing a disc-shaped Unidentified Flying Object (UFO).
A case has been registered with the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), which states that the UFO was hovering just 1,500 feet above ground level while also projecting a light to the ground level.
According to the witness, the incident took place on Tuesday evening, 25 November around 6:55pm when he had gone outside to check a nearby creek level since there was a flood warning in the area.
"It was very quiet with the sounds of the creek water coming to me," the unidentified witness was quoted as saying by Open Minds. "Looking south I was moving my flashlight from side-to-side, trying to see the water on the fields more clearly when suddenly a very bright light from the southwesterly sky was upon me."
The witness realised that everything was too bright all of a sudden and when we looked around to find the source of the white light, he saw a round object flying soundlessly. The object was about 1,500 feet away from him with the bottom pointing towards his direction.
In his words, the object's "edges were softly rounded, kind of like a thin inner tube, and except for the edge of the object, the entire bottom was lit up. It was like being in a huge spot light, the beam widening around me, narrower where it came from the object. In half a second, the beam of light was shut off and all I saw was the bottom of the object, still lit up. The object never moved but remained stationary."
The witness goes on to say that in a matter of seconds, the object disappeared from the sky and three to four seconds later, it reappeared in the north side of the town behind a mill. He also heard a big "boom" sound accompanied with "an extremely brilliant blue light" that lit up the entire sky from one side of the valley to the other.
No pictures of the sighting has been submitted by the witness and also no other witnesses have come forward reporting the same incident.
However, this is not an isolated event of UFO sighting in the area. In October alone this year, there have been 12 reports of sighting from the Washington region.
