Liverpool are not finding the UEFA Europa League easy this season. After being pitted against Premier League giants Manchester United in the last 16 of the competition, they need to get ready as their next opponents remain Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund.
The Reds packed United back home with a 3-1 aggregate win over two legs in the competition. Borussia Dortmund, meanwhile, also sent fellow Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur back home after winning 5-1 over two legs.
The match will also see former Borussia Dortmund manager Jurgen Klopp return to the Signal Iduna Park for the first time after becoming the Liverpool manager. While the first leg of the Europa League quarter final match will be played on April 7 in Germany, the return leg will take place at Anfield on April 14.
SC Braga (Portugal), Shakhtar Donetsk (Ukraine), Sparta Prague (Czech Republic), Villarreal, Athletic Bilbao and Sevilla (all Spain) are the other teams remaining in the competition this season.
