Mona Singh, best known for her unusual role as Jassi in "Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin", was recently harassed by a stalker for not clicking a selfie with him.

According to reports, the incident took place on 2 August, when Mona was in Bandra, Mumbai, where the stranger walked up to her requesting a selfie. As the actress doesn't like taking pictures with strangers, she politely refused.

This infuriated the stranger who misbehaved by parking his vehicle in front of hers and insisted on clicking a selfie with her. When she refused again, he messaged her just to brag about how much he knows about her.

"Mona was the last one to leave in her car from the parking area. Suddenly, the same guy overtook her vehicle and parked his vehicle in front of Mona's. A terrified Mona got out to confront him. He asked her for a picture again. More than asking for it, it was his demand." a source told Mid-Day.

Although, Mona blocked his number on WhatsApp, many of her close friends advised her to file a complaint against the stalker. However, the ""Kya Huaa Tera Vaada" actress chose not to take the matter to police fearing that the matter might turn worse.

"I am still a little shaken with this brazen act of defiance. I am absolutely game for selfies but selfies with strangers is a big no for me. Can't imagine that a man could go to this extent only for a selfie."

On the work front, a few months ago, reports started doing the rounds that Mona will be seen playing the lead in Balaji Telefilms' new show titled "Ye Mera Pyaar". Ankita Lokhande of "Pavitra Rishta" fame was earlier supposed to play the role.
