Triumph Motorcycles India launched yet another model in its adventure motorcycle range -- the Tiger 800 XCA. The new motorcycle launched on Monday is priced at Rs 13.75 lakh (ex- showroom Delhi).

The XCA is positioned as the top of the line variant of the 800cc adventure tourer, joining the 800 XR, 800 XRx and the 800 XCx. The motorcycle boasts an array of features topped by advanced ABS system that can be changed between road, off-road, and off settings.

The XCA has traction control, cruise control and trip control. Additionally, the motorcycle comes with heated rider and pillion seats, fog lamps and a 650W alternator hosting auxiliary sockets.

The adventure bike also comes with the riding modes -- road, off-road and programmable -- that automatically configure the ABS, traction control, and throttle maps to best tackle the different terrains.

The Tiger 800 XCA is powered by a liquid-cooled, 800cc in-line three-cylinder engine that develops 94bhp of power and 79Nm of torque mated to a six-speed gearbox.

"For those who like to ride a little more off the beaten path, the new Tiger 800 XCA is the top tier of the Tiger XC family. Adding this variant to our outstanding range of Adventure bikes, we have consolidated in the category in India, taking the ethos of adventure a step further" said Triumph Motorcycles India MD, Vimal Sumbly at the launch.

Triumph Motorcycles India sold close to 2,000 motorcycles across categories in its 20 months of presence in India, the company said in a statement.

With the launch of new Tiger XCA, the Triumph Motorcycles India portfolio has been increased to a total of 15 motorcycles in 5 motorcycling categories.
