Tomorrowland, the biggest electronic dance music festival in the world, is all set to take place in Belgium from July 24 to 26. EDM lovers in India and Mexico City, who have always wished to experience the magic, madness and live music, can do so this time, thanks to a live satellite link.
On Saturday, July 25, the second day of the festival, Tomorrowland 2015 will host live events in Mumbai and Mexico City under its initiative Unite: The Mirror to Tomorrowland.
Tomorrowland came out with the concept of Unite with an aim to bridge the gap between Belgium and the rest of the world. And hence, during the 11th edition of Tomorrowland, there will be a satellite link set up from Boom (Belgium) to two other continents: Latin America and Asia.
As part of these two parties to be held in Mumbai and Mexico City, organisers will have the opportunity to stream the four-hour-long live sets by popular DJs including Martin Garrix, Armin van Buuren and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike.
While in India music lovers will groove to those EDM beats on the intervening nights of 25 and 26, the Mexicans will be just finishing lunch. And both the parties will experience a heavy dose of Tomorrowland along with sets by local DJs.
In India, the event will be hosted by Percept Live at Dome, in Worli. It will start with an opening set by DJ Anish Sood, making way for live set by Martin Garrix, who is scheduled to start playing at the stroke of midnight.
