An insider told Daily Mail, "Nic was stunned when Tom reached out to her about working together again," an unnamed source reportedly told the publication.

"And she was even more taken aback about what he had in mind... especially as he wants them to do love scenes."

Sources claim that Nicole Kidman's relationship with the Top Gun actor has been a little better since his divorce with his third wife Katie Holmes. He met the Lion actress on the set of the 1990 film Days Of Thunder and tied the knot on Christmas Eve that year.

Cruise and Kidman, one of the Hollywood's best-known couples, announced on February 5, 2001, that they were filing for divorce after more than a decade of marriage. The pair adopted two children, Isabella and Connor Anthony. Before marrying Kidman, the Hollywood hunk was previously married to actress Mimi Rogers for three years and separated in the year 1990.

If this movie ever happens in reality, then this would be the first movie in 20 years ever since the pair appeared together in Stanley Kubrick's erotic thriller Eyes Wide Shut. They also acted in other films such as Days of Thunder and Far and Away together.

Kidman's recent works including The Beguiled, Big Little Lies, and Lion have garnered much critical acclaim worldwide.
