Technical awards for the Times of India Film Awards 2016 (TOIFA) were announced Thursday and "Bajirao Mastani" has walked out with the maximum honours. Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Bajirao Mastani," starring Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra, has bagged as many as three awards.

"Bajirao Mastani" won awards for Best Cinematography, Best Art Direction and Best Costume Design. On the other hand, Salman Khan's "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" took away the Best Story award.

Best Costume: Anju Modi and Maxima Basu for "Bajirao Mastani"

Best Dialogue: Himanshu Sharma for "Tanu Weds Manu Returns"

Best Choreography: Remo D'Souza for "ABCD 2"

Best Editing: A Sreekar Prasad for "Talvar"

Best Screenplay: Juhi Chaturvedi for "Piku"

Best Art Direction: Saloni Dhatrak, Sriram Iyengar and Sujeet Sawant for "Bajirao Mastani"

TOIFA 2016 (technical awards) witnessed the presence of several Bollywood stars. Apart from distribution of awards, the event was also marked with some performances and a fashion show. Sooraj Pancholi and Zareen Khan appeared as the showstoppers.

While Thursday was a glitzy affair, the main event is March 18 that will witness some electrifying performances by stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, Varun Dhawan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Yo Yo Honey Singh. Photos of several Bollywood celebrities arriving in Dubai have been appearing on social media. Stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Urvashi Rautela, Aditya Roy Kapur, Elli Avram and Genelia Deshmukh will also be present at the grand event.

The event, to be held at Dubai International Stadium, Dubai Sports City, will be hosted by Parineeti Chopra and Riteish Deshmukh. The event will honour the best talents of 2015.
