Tiger Zinda Hai music Review
Movie Stills

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, who wooed everyone with their fun, loving and sizzling chemistry in 2012, are back to take you on an adventurous ride with their upcoming film Tiger Zinda Hai, a sequel to Ek Tha Tiger that is loaded with breathtaking action sequences and exotic locations.

Director Ali Abbas Zafar has done a fabulous job of adding his own elements of candid close-ups and long shots to give moviegoers a larger-than-life cinematic experience, which is something a Salman Khan film needs.

But apart from all the grandeur, you need to have chartbusters that will bring out Salman bhai's machismo as well as showcase his lover-boy persona on screen.

As the makers have already introduced the songs Swag Se Swagat and Dil Diyan Gallan from its jukebox, we analyse the entire album to see whether it fits the bill.

Swag Se Swagat

Tiger Zinda Hai Swag Se Swagat

Music composer duo Vishal-Shekhar has tried to heat up the upbeat song by including all the necessary ingredients like rap, heart-pumping drops and electronic music.

The song looks tailor-made for both Salman and Katrina, who never disappoint fans with their quirky and sexy dance moves.

The composition would've qualified as one of the party anthems of 2017 and a true successor of the Mashallah song from Ek Tha Tiger, had it been backed by meaningful lyrics.

Why would anyone even want to sing something like "Swag Se Karenge Sabka Swagat" and step up to showcase their dancing skills on the dance floor? Lyrics play a vital role in pulling it down from the heights it could have reached.

Singers: Vishal Dadlani, Neha Bhasin
Music: Vishal and Shekhar, Julius Packiam (Tiger Theme)
Lyrics: Irshad Kamil

Dil Diya Gallan

Tiger Zinda Hai Dil Diyan Gallan

Yes, this is what we were waiting for. A romantic and soothing song in the magical voice of Pakistani singer Atif Aslam, who never fails to tug at the heartstrings of his listeners.

The song is a treat for every romantic couple who wished to express love through music. Vishal-Shekhar have managed to bring the right essence to the song, perfectly blending acoustic instruments to deliver a compassionate melody that has already found a place in the playlist of many music-lovers.

Neha Bhasin, who has lent her voice to the unplugged version of Dil Diyan Gallan, equals the magic of the original with her voice.

Zinda Hai

Tiger Zinda Hai Zinda Hai

For a Tiger like Salman Khan, there has to be a theme that glorifies and defines him as the perfect action hero whenever he strikes a pose or kicks butt on screen. And Zinda Hai does justice to it.

The high-octane progressive theme will surely pump up the Tiger inside you with its electronic rock.

Musical gem Sukhwinder Singh brings the song alive with his impactful voice, and Raftaar complements him well with his occassional rap.

Expect the Zinda Hai theme playing in the background throughout the movie.

Daata Tu

Tiger Zinda Hai Daata Tu

If any time in your life you get a feeling that there's no ray of hope in the web of darkness, this song will surely light you up with its soulful lyrics.

The song is like a prayer to God to give you strength when you cannot find the strength to overcome a situation.

Shreya Ghoshal as always mesmerises, with her singing evoking emotions of empathy.

Tera Noor

Tiger Zinda Hai Tera Noor

Tera Noor is the perfect example of what happens when Sufi meets Rock.

The unconventional collaboration of Vishal-Shekhar and Jyoti Nooran — one half of the Sufi duo Nooran Sisters from the Sham Chaurasia gharana of classical music — is a delight for every music lover. This is a pure gem.

Singer: Jyoti Nooran
Music: Vishal and Shekhar
Lyrics: Irshad Kamil

To sum up everything, the combination Vishal-Shekhar, Irshad Kamil and Ali Abbas Zafar in Tiger Zinda Hai has once again proved to be a winner after Sultan (2016) in terms of music.
