Mega Power Star Ram Charan is joining hands with producer Allu Aravind again after the blockbuster movie "Magadheera". The combo's next film, the remake of "Thani Oruvan", has been launched in style.
Ram Charan and Allu Aravind have tasted blockbuster success with "Magadheera" in 2009. The hit film is still fresh in the memory of the Telugu audience. Now, with the duo reuniting, expectations from the remake of "Thani Oruvan" have hit the roof.
The makers say they have teamed up for something bigger than "Magadheera". They are prepping to deliver another hit at the box office. They have roped Surender Reddy as the director. Mega family PRO G Sriniwasa Kumar tweeted: "After Magadheera #MegaPowerstar #RamCharan Ace Producer #AlluAravind's wonderful combo is back. This time with Stylish dir Surender Reddy. (sic)"
The Telugu remake of "Thani Oruvan", which is the 10th movie of Ram Charan, was launched in Hyderabad on Thursday morning. The regular shooting of the film will start from Feb. 21. The makers have planned to shoot it nonstop and release it as an Independence Day treat on August 12.
Ram Charan, Rakul Preet Singh, Aravind Swami, Nazar and Krishna Murali Posani are in the star cast of the movie, which is likely to be titled "Dhruva". Rakul and the other cast and crew were present at the launch of the "Thani Oruvan" Telugu remake. Cherry's sister Srija also attended the event.
But Ram Charan could not make it to the event as he was in Bangalore. He informed his Facebook fans about the launch and his absence. He wrote: "My next movie officially launched today. Due to some important commitments missed being at the pooja. All excited and looking forward to work with the team !! â€ª#â€ŽRC10 (sic)"
The remake is the 36th Telugu production of Geetha Arts. The movie will have Aseem Mishra's cinematography, Hip Hop Adi's music, Nagendra's art direction, Naveen Nooli's editing and Rajeevan's production design.
