The Tamil movie, which is currently being referred to as "Thala 57," is said to have six songs, and one can expect a variety of compositions in the album. The tracks are believed to be targeted at the youth and are primarily aimed at the mass audience.

Anirudh's songs in "Vedalam" had lived up to the expectations of people. "Don't You Mess With Me," "Uyir Nadhi Kalangudhae" and "Aaluma Doluma" had turned out to be the hit songs of the film. Hence, people have high expectations from the upcoming film as well.

Meanwhile, the unit of "Thala 57" is all set to start the shooting next month. It was supposed to commence by the end of this month but got delayed for some reasons. Now, the opening schedule will begin in Bulgaria. A major part of the project will be shot in foreign countries.

"Thala 57" is being written and directed by Siruthai Siva, who is teaming up with Ajith for the third time, after "Veeram" and "Vedalam." Sathya Jyothi Films is bankrolling the movie, which is expected to be released next year.

The cinematography and editing will be done by Vetri and Anthony Ruben, respectively. The female lead of the movie is yet to be announced even though reports say that Kajal Aggarwal will be romancing Ajith in the film. Kamal Haasan's daughter Akshara Haasan is said to be playing the second female lead.
