Puri Jagannath's "Temper", which is scheduled to release in theatres on 13 February, is expected to get a fantastic opening and break the records of Junior NTR's "Baadshah" at the box office.

"Baadshah" was his last hit film and it also happens to be the biggest opener and highest grosser of Junior NTR's career. "Ramayya Vasthavayya" and "Rabhasa", the previous releases of the actor, were much-hyped but they proved to be average grossers at the worldwide box office.

"Temper" is Junior NTR's next highly-anticipated movie and it has been creating positive buzz ever since it was announced. Made at a budget of ₹35 crore, the film boasts of brilliant production values. Its promos and music have impressed the viewers and made them wait eagerly for its release in theatres.

Having garnered U/A certificate from the Censor Board, "Temper" is scheduled to release in nearly 850 cinema halls in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, 300 theatres in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and other parts of India, and 185+ international screens. The movie is expected to grace over 1,350 cinema halls, which is almost equal to the theatre count of "Baadshah".

There are some striking similarities between "Temper" and "Baadshah". Both are big-ticket action entertainers with all other commercial ingredients. Both are produced by Bandla Ganesh Babu. More importantly, they feature Junior NTR and Kajal Aggarwal as their lead pair. The production of both is on par with Hollywood standards. The hype surrounding "Temper" is almost equal to that of "Baadshah".

Released in 1,550 Screens worldwide, "Baadshah" got a record-breaking opening and had collected ₹47 crore at the worldwide box office in its lifetime, according to Andhra Box Office. It has raked in ₹11.80 crore in Nizam, ₹8.30 crore in Ceeded, ₹4.45 crore in Karnataka and ₹5.80 crore from overseas market. The film has set new records for Junior NTR in these areas.

Interestingly, the theatrical rights of "Temper" have reportedly been sold out for a fancy price of ₹45+ crore. It has got record amount of advance booking for the opening weekend. Trade experts in the industry predict that "Temper" has all positive points that were observed in "Baadshah" and it will surely shatter all the records of the latter.
