While Tata Motors will officially unveil its new Nexon compact SUV at the Auto Expo 2016, which will be held in the first week of February, a new set of images of the model has emerged online, this time showing the interiors of the model.

Caught on camera by Indian Autos Blog, the latest images reveal Nexon's cabin that features three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, horizontally-positioned AC vents and Tata Bolt-like instrument cluster.

Tata Nexon, which will rival Ford EcoSport and Mahindra TUV300, is based on the heavily modified Tata X1 platform. The vehicle is expected to be priced in the range of Rs 6-10 lakh. Under the hood, Nexon, which is also known as Osprey, is expected to include a 1.2-litre petrol Revotron engine and a 1.3-litre Multijet engine, which also do duty in Bolt and Zest. Rumours are rife that a new 1.5-litre petrol engine from the Revotron family, which is likely to develop a power of 100bhp, could also make it to the compact SUV.

Tata Nexon will join the company's arena at the Auto Expo along with 20 other products like Zica hatchback, Kite compact sedan and Hexa crossover. Tata will also have new Signa range of trucks on display. Tata Nexon is expected to go on sale in India in early 2017.
