Tata Motors' upcoming Bolt hatchback has made its way to the web again through new spy pictures, hinting the vehicle is ready to hit the domestic market.

Bolt, a car which made its first appearance at the Delhi Auto Expo 2014 along with the company's upcoming sedan Zest, has made numerous appearances on the web since then through spy images and details.

The car is expected to make its entry into the domestic market during this festive season. Now, the latest is a set of spy shots of Bolt from Bikaner, Rajasthan - by the folks at Gearonn - where car seem to be testing for high temperature. Though the photos have nothing new to reveal, it indicates that Bolt is inching closer to its debut in the country.

Tata Bolt will be offered in both petrol and engine options. While the petrol model of Bolt will come with a 1.2 liter Revotron turbo petrol engine, which can churn out a power of 84 bhp at 5000 rpm and a torque of 140 Nm of 1750-3500 rpm, the diesel version will pack a 1.3 liter Multijet diesel motor.

The car is expected to come with features like audio system with MapMyIndia GPS, touchscreen and voice commands, center console, infotainment system, electric power steering in place of Tata Indica Vista's hydraulic unit, projector headlamps and LED tail lamps.

Besides Bolt, Tata Zest is also due for launch in the country. The launch of these two cars is crucial for the company as it is facing stiff competition from its rivals.

Zest, a sedan to rival Maruti Suzuki Swift DZire, Hyundai Xcent and Honda Amaze, will be offered in both petrol and diesel variants. The petrol version of the Zest will be powered by a 1.2 litre, four-cylinder, turbocharged Revotron engine under the hood, which can churn out a power of 85 PS at 5000 RPM and a peak torque of 140 Nm 1750-3000 RPM.

The diesel model will come with a 1.3 litre Quadrajet motor, which can generate 90 PS power at 4000 RPM and 200Nm torque at 1750-3000 RPM.

The car is likely to accommodate features like new front grille, projector headlamps, steering wheel and dashboard, and will be priced between ₹6 lakh to ₹8 lakh.
