Television actor Mohit Abrol, who played the role of Nirbhay Singh on Colors' popular show "Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi," will soon be seen in "Swaragini." The actor has been roped to play the character of Rakesh, Uttara's (Khyati Mangla) boyfriend.
Mohit will be playing a negative character who will enter the Maheshwari family to create problems. "Yes, I am entering Swaragini, it's a grey character. When the production house offered me the role, I immediately bagged it without thinking twice, because I always wanted to work with Balaji and Rashmi Sharma. Balaji gave me a golden opportunity and provided me with a turning point in my persona by giving me the character of Nirbhay. I am excited to be a part of Swaragini," Mohit told India Forums.
Meanwhile, on "Swaragini," Ragini (Tejaswi Prakash Wayangankar) has returned to the Maheshwari family as Lakshya's (Namish Taneja) wife. The newly-married couple also shared some romantic moments together. The entire Maheshwari family, including Swara (Helly Shah) and Sanskaar (Varun Kapoor), were seen enjoying on Ragini and Lakshya's wedding.
However, with the latest report of Mohit's character entering the show, it appears that the happiness of the Maheshwari family will be short-lived.
According to a Bollywood Life report, in the upcoming episodes, viewers will also be treated with some romantic sequence between Swara and Sanskaar. Also, Parineeta (Akanksha Chamola) will be seen getting insecure since Swara and Ragini will draw the family's attention. She will plan to divert the attention of the family towards her during the Gangaur pooja, which will be celebrated by the female members of the Maheshwari family.
