The music of the upcoming Suriya–Nayanthara starrer movie, "Masss", is one of the most-awaited albums of the year. Rumours about the release date of the "Masss" album is doing the rounds. Now the latest we hear is that audience can expect the album to hit the stands on 3 May and the music rights is acquired by Eros.

The music of "Masss" has been composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja and the album has a total of seven songs. Recently, actor Suriya had tweeted that he is eagerly waiting for the audio release and his personal favourite is the song "Piravi".

The makers of "Masss" had managed to create a huge buzz with the release of the movie's posters and logo. For Yuvan Shankar Raja, the upcoming flick is very special as it's his sixth film with Venkat Prabhu and seventh with Suriya after "Povellam Kettupar", "Nandha", "Mounam Pesiyathe", "Perazhagan", "Vel", and "Anjaan".

The music composer is creating songs for Nayanthara for the eighth time. They have previously worked together in films like "Kalvanin Kadhali", "Vallavan Billa", "Yaradi Nee Mohini", "Aegan", "Boss Engira Bhaskaran", and "Arrambam".

Suriya's look in the movie appeals to the masses. In the posters, he is seen wearing a blue-coloured glasses and ear pins, which he paired with a multi-coloured hairstyle. Audience is now expecting a fun-filled movie with entertaining aspects.

Directed by Venkat Prabhu, "Masss" is reportedly a supernatural fantasy thriller starring Suriya and Nayanthara in the lead roles.

The film will be the 50th film for editor Praveen KL. The screenplay of "Masss" is written jointly by Venkat Prabhu and Madhan Karky, and the cinematography is done by RD Rajashekar.

The film, produced by KE Gnanavel Raja under the banner of Studio Green, is scheduled to hit the theatres on 15 May, 2015.
