The audio of Suriya's "Anjaan" was released in an event held at Sathyam cinemas on Tuesday morning.

Earlier, the "Anjaan" team had planned for a grand audio launch event on 22 July, but it was cancelled. Instead, the film's team held a visual premiere of two songs "Bang Bang Bang" and "Ek Do Theen Chaar" for media people, trade circles and fans. The makers also showed the audio of two other songs – "Oru Kan Jaadai" and "Siripu En Speciality" – with the lyrics.

The event was attended by Suriya, director Lingusamy, Vidyut Jamwal of "Thuppakki" fame", comedian Soori and music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja. Lyricists Madan Karky and Na Muthukumar, Parthepan, KR, Vikram Kumar, cinematographer Natraj and Manobala were also present at the occasion.

However, "Anjaan" leading lady Samantha missed the audio function.

Suriya and the film's team released the official music CD of "Anjaan." The songs will be available on iTunes from today night, while the CDs will be out in stores from Wednesday morning. It will be a double treat for Suriya fans as the actor is celebrating his birthday on Wednesday.

There are total five tracks in "Anjaan" of which one song is rendered by Suriya. The song "Ek Do Theen Chaar" is touted to be a masala number targeted at the mass audience. Andrea Jeremiah has crooned the song with Suriya.

"Anjaan" is carrying huge expectations as it is Suriya's film. The film's first look posters and the teaser have generated the hype surrounding the project. The promotional activities have grabbed eyeballs with positive buzz about the film. It remains to be seen if the film's content will impress the audience.

Directed by Lingusamy, "Anjaan" is touted to be an action-packed entertainer with Suriya appearing in double roles. The film is produced by UTV Motion Pictures and Lingusamy's Thirrupathi Brothers. It is all set to hit the screens on 15 August.
