Director Ani Kanneganti's Telugu movie "Run" starring Sundeep Kishan and Anisha Ambrose has received positive reviews from the audience.

"Run" is an official remake of Malayalam movie "Neram," which was simultaneously made and released in Tamil with the same name. Written and directed by Alphonse Putharen, this bilingual movie is a black comedy-thriller film featuring Nivin Pauly, Nazriya Nazim and Bobby Simha in the lead roles. Both versions of the movie have become big hits at the box office.

Now, Ani Kanneganti has remade the movie in Telugu. The director has retained the original story of "Neram," but has made certain changes in the screenplay to suit the taste of the local audience. He has added some commercial ingredients to make it more appealing to the masses.

"Run" revolves around the story of computer engineer (Sundeep Kishan), who becomes jobless when the U.S.-based company he works for gets in trouble. He takes a loan from an unkind dubious lender (Bobby Simhaa), but fails to pay the interest for months.

After learning about his condition, his girlfriend's (Anisha Ambrose) father refuses to get her married to him. He elopes with her and the money lender and the girl's father starts chasing them. How the hero overcomes the challenges forms the crux of the story of the movie "Run."

The audience say Sundeep Kishan and Anisha Ambrose have delivered decent performances and their chemistry is one of the highlights of "Run." Bobby Simhaa, Posani Krishna Murali and Brahmaji have played important roles in the film and their performances are also among the assets of the movie.

#Run was partly successful in recreating #Neram .. Charm of the lead pair is missing here. I know Anisha can't be a Nazirya but she was absolutely dumb. Can't expess. Can't make you fall for her. #RUN #Neram #Neram carried the theme right through out the film from the framing, photography to each n every character design. Seriously humourous.
