Sony Pictures released the new trailer of "Spectre" on Wednesday, 22 July. The fans did not just get a glimpse of the action-packed movie, but also the character details of the 24th instalment of "James Bond" franchise.

Producers unveiled the two-minute-30-second-long sneak peek video of "007 Spectre" globally through the official website and various social networking sites, including Facebook and Twitter.

The new trailer revolves around the secret mission of Daniel Craig's character in Mexico City and Rome. It shows him trying to trace a person, who is not a stranger to him, through a cryptic message.

Eventually agent 007 meets Monica Bellucci's character Lucia Sciarra, who is described as "the beautiful and forbidden widow of an infamous criminal" by the official website of James Bond movie.

During his quest for Christoph Waltz's character, Bond will be questioned by the new head of the Centre for National Security, named Max Denbigh (Andrew Scott). But, he decides to continue with the mission and includes Moneypenny (Naomie Harris) and Q (Ben Whishaw) in his team.

After Craig's character finds out about a sinister organisation, called "Spectre", he asks his teammates to search for his old nemesis Mr White's (Jesper Christensen) daughter Madeleine Swann (Léa Seydoux). He believes that the lady could help him in his mission as she can understand him better than anyone else.

The "Spectre" trailer ends with a shocking twist that makes the lead character realises the connection between him and his enemy.

It is the first full length promotional clip of "Bond 24" and is classified under 12A category by the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC), according to Digital Spy.

"Spectre" will be released in the United Kingdom and Ireland on Monday, 26 October, and in the US on 6 November.
