Suriya and Gautham Menon, who were not in good terms, seem to have sorted out their differences. As a result, the duo is planning to work on a project again.

A few months ago, Gautham Menon dropped a hint about their possible team-up. Now, Suriya, in an interview to a magazine, has confirmed that the talks are on and they will hopefully join hands for a film. The "Singam" star has also said they will formally announce their project soon.

The news has created a lot of sensation among their fans. It is because the duo had churned out hits like "Kaakha Kaakha" and "Vaaranam Aayiram". After being part of such projects, they decided to collaborate for "Dhruva Natchathiram". The film had a grand muhurat, too, before the project was shelved on a sad note.

Suriya, who had given the green signal based on a one-line story narrated by Gautham Menon, walked out of the project saying the director could not come up with a strong story on time. The "Ghajini" star also raked up some other older issues between them, leaving Menon upset.

Later, Gautham Menon went ahead with his other film "Yennai Arindhaal" with Ajith, whereas Suriya opted for Lingusamy's "Anjaan".

As for the latest film, it is not clear whether the director and the actor are reviving "Dhruva Natchathiram" or teaming up for a fresh project.

Meanwhile, Suriya is busy with "S 3", which is the third instalment in the "Singam" franchise. His "24", directed by Vikram Kumar, has completed its shooting and will hit the screens in the coming months. Gautham Menon is busy with Simbu-starrer "Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada".
