The film's audio, which was released a few months, has already become big hits.

Although "Vaalu" has been delayed for a couple of years, the film is still one of the most-anticipated films of Simbu. It is the first time that the actor has been paired opposite Motwani and their chemistry is expected to be one of the major highlights of the film.

Simbu-Santhanam scenes, in their past releases, have received positive feedback from the audience. The duo is all set to rock again in "Vaalu" and their combination scenes are expected to provide some comic relief.

"Vaalu" trailer looks interesting and is sure to impress the viewers. With the release of the trailer, expectations for the film are likely to soar, but it remains to be seen as to when the film will hit theatres.

Simbu's last release was the 2012-film "Poda Podi", after which the actor was seen only in guest appearances in a few film,  including Santhanam's "Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya" and "Inga Enna Solluthu."

Fans of STR have been eagerly waiting to see their favourite star as the lead hero in films. It will be a double treat for them as Simbu is likely to have two releases this year. Besides "Vaalu", the actor's "Idhu Namma Aalu" with ex-lover Nayanthara is also expected to release this year.
