The South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) 2014 will be taking place on 12 and 13 September in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

SIIMA Awards ceremony will be a grand event with several celebrities from four south film industries gathering under one roof.

SIIMA 2014 was launched in Hyderabad recently. Speaking at the event, actor Rana Daggubati said, "South Indian cinema is one of the biggest film industries in the world and SIIMA provides a platform for the stars to showcase their work to a global audience. SIIMA is way to celebrate with the film fraternity and connect with a global audience."

A panel of experts has chosen the nominations for the Telugu film industry under various categories. The winners will be chosen based on public voting.

Pawan Kalyan's "Attarintiki Daredi' leads the pack with nominations under 12 categories including best film, best actor, best actress, best music director and best director.

Kalyan has once again been nominated in the best actor category for his performance in the film. Last year, the actor won the award for "Gabbar Singh" and it will be interesting to see if the public voting will help him win the award once again.

Mahesh Babu, Venkatesh, Prabhas, Nithiin and Ram Charan also feature in the nominations for best actor award.
