Taylor Swift has been single since her high-profile split from One Direction's Harry Styles last year. But recent reports note that she might have her eyes set on a new man, and it's none other than "The Fault In Our Stars" actor Ansel Elgort.
Analysing a few pictures of them together at the American Music Awards on Sunday night, body language expert Lillian Glass told Hollywoodlife that Swift clearly has a crush on the actor.
"She's looking up at him and she's picking at her hands nervously, so she's clearly got a crush on him!" Glass noted, commenting on a photo of them together. "She's looking up at him in admiration, and she is really uncomfortable around him because she is so into him. She has turned into mush around him."
Elgort is about four years younger to Swift, 24, and their age difference is not going to matter much to the "Love Story" singer, as several of her past boyfriends -- Harry Styles and Conor Kennedy -- were younger to her.
Swift and Elgort first met at the 2014 Teen Choice Awards when she presented him with the Best Movie Actor award for his role as Augustus Waters in "The Fault In Our Stars."
At the time, it was evident that the actor was clearly starstruck by Swift, as he immediately took to his Instagram account to upload a picture of them together. "Real life?????? This is insane. I can't thank you all enough for voting for me. Yes that's Taylor Swift giving me the surfboard. Wtf is life… #tfios." He later posted yet another photo of them with the caption, "Lol sorry I just think this is cool. #tfios."
The possibility of a romance between the two is high, especially as Elgort is believed to be single since his split from longtime girlfriend Violetta Komyshan. They broke up as the hectic work schedule of "The Fault In Our Stars" actor got in the way of their romance.
"They tried to navigate his commitments, but between filming and press for the movies [it got difficult]," an insider told Us Weekly, adding that the split was amicable.
