Director Abhishek Sharma's much-talked about movie "The Shaukeens", which features the ensemble cast of Anupam Kher, Annu Kapoor, Piyush Mishra, Lisa Haydon and Akshay Kumar in the lead roles, is scheduled to release in theatres on 7 November. 1. "The Shaukeens" is a remake of 1982 cult-classic movie "Shaukeen", which was high on the comic quotient. It is the latest venture of director Abhishek Sharma, who made us crack up with his last venture "Tere Bin Laden". The film is going to be a laugh riot.

2. Filmmaker Tigmanshu Dhulia, who has earlier written and directed movies like "Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster", "Paan Singh Tomar" and "Bullet Raja", has worked on the script of "The Shaukeens". He has made several changes in the modern adaptation of "Shaukeen" to woo the audience.
