Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput recently returned from their babymoon and the latter was seen flaunting her baby bump at the airport. The cute couple of Bollywood went on a romantic vacation to Maldives.
Shahid and Mira were spotted in casual wears of black and grey combination, and the duo didn't shy away from the cameras to hide Mira's bump. However, Shahid had confirmed at the trailer launch of "Udta Punjab" that he was going to be a father.
When asked to comment on rumours about his next stage of life — fatherhood — the "Haider" actor told the press: "Why are you asking ghuma firake (round about), ask directly. Yes...haan mein baap banane wala hoon (yes, I am going to become a father)."
Earlier, there have been several reports of Shahid and Mira expecting their first child. Mira was said to be in the second trimester, but the couple did not respond to these reports initially. But, then Shahid confirmed the news and surprised his fans, like he had surprised everyone with his wedding reports last year.
The buzz about Mrs. Kapoor's pregnancy began when she attended the Lakme Fashion Week 2016 and was spotted with a small baby bump. While that got tongues wagging about Mira's pregnancy, Masaba Gupta reposted Mira's Instagram post that fuelled speculations. The post featured Mira and Masaba's photo with the caption: "Two M's and a Bum #sayheytobey – little M." After the post, there was a confusion about who was pregnant – Mira or Masaba. Now, we know who the "little M" is.
Meanwhile, Shahid had arrived from his holiday with his wife. He was earlier busy shooting for Abhishek Chaubey's "Udta Punjab" and Vishal Bhardwaj's "Rangoon."
