Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has always had a lean framework. Even when he went for the much talked about eight-pack abs he made sure to not bulk up.

Prashant Sawant, who has trained with King Khan for 18 years, says he is a fuss-free eater and works out happily at odd hours.

"He happily trains at 2 am and gives his 300 percent at each workout session. He actually performs better than 20-year-olds and his intensity only keeps getting better!," the India Today quoted Sawant as saying.

He further added how his smoking habits never came in the way of his fitness regime. Sawant also shed light on the superstar's diet, which is a high protein and low carb one. The fitness instructor also elaborated the workout routine SRK follows.

"I make him do a mix of cardio and strength training. He trusts me completely, so I can make him perform the most difficult workouts with child-like ease. As a trainer, I also think from a doctor's perspective and make sure he does what is required for his body; I never let him over-train," he noted.

Talking about "Raees", "Dilwale" and "Fan", Sawant said for the Rahul Dholakia directorial, Shah Rukh will be seen in his leanest frame possible. The trainer shied away from revealing much about how his physique is going to be for Rohit Shetty's film, but did spill the beans about Maneesh Sharma's project.

"In Fan, SRK has a double role. So, you will get to see two interesting body types," Sawant said.
