Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone created dhoom with their chemistry in "Chennai Express" and "Om Shanti Om", but in their third film the actors will disappoint their fans.

Shah Rukh and Padukone will be seen together in the upcoming film "Happy New Year" as the leads which is one of the main reasons why it is the most awaited film of the year.

But Shah Rukh and Padukone's fans will get disappointed this time, as the "Ram-leela" actress doesn't have full fledge romantic seen with SRK in "Happy New Year", directed by Farah Khan.

According to a report, Padukone's role in the film is more like one of the boys and hence the filmmaker has tone down the romantic angle.

"Deepika Padukone is more like one of the boys in the caper. She plays a bar dancer who is called by Shah Rukh Khan to teach his team of heisters how to dance in a global dance competition. The mutual attraction between SRK and Deepika is hinted at very gently. There is no attempt to cash in on the Chennai Express chemistry between the pair," a source told Bollywood Hungama.

"She feels she's an artiste and therefore superior to the male actors whom she has been called to teach how to dance," says the source.

Apparently, it's none other than SRK who suggested the director of the film Farah to tone down the romantic angle.

"He wanted Farah to focus on the caper. He made her tone down the romantic element with Deepika to focus on the caper aspect of the script," the source said.

"Happy New Year" is a heist drama which is set to release this year during Diwali. Apart from SRK and Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood and Vivaan Shah will be seen playing key roles in the movie.
