The second teaser of Mohanlal's much awaited film "Peruchazhi" is released. The teaser shows a foreigner introducing Mohanlal as 'peruchazhi' with the United States flag in the backdrop.
The first teaser of the film was released on 21 May, on Mohanlal's birthday. The teaser featured the superstar in a Spiderman costume, which wished him a "Super Birthday."
"I can promise a visual treat. 'Peruchazhi' will not disappoint you in terms of its visuals. Frames are going to be entirely different from what we usually see and it is going to be a new experience for the Malayali audience. Colour tone and feel of the film is going to be a special one. Our locations in the US have given us the desired result," said actress Sandra Thomas who is also the co-producer of the film to IBTimes, India Edition.
The film will be released on 29 August as an Onam release. Arun Vaidyanathan directorial's audio and trailer launch will take place in the first week of August.

"Peruchazhi" will see the return of evergreen comedy combination of Mohanlal and Mukesh. They have done films like "Thalavattam", "Vandanam", "Kakkakuyil", "Udayananu Thaaram", "Arabeem Ottakom, P.Madhavan Nayarum in Oru Marubhoomikkadha" and "Rock and Roll."
"Peruchazhi" revolves around the life of two friends - Vishwanathan played by Mohanlal and Minister Raghavan played by Mukhesh. Even though they are good friends, they are political rivals at the same time.
The film goes through the incidents where both of them try to pull each other down. Vishwanathan is also known as 'peruchazhi' as he is a very clever aspiring politician. The film takes a turn when Vishwanathan is sent to the US even though he is illiterate in English.
"Peruchazhi" has a huge star cast of Baburaj, Vijay Babu, Aju Varghese, Delhi Ganesh, Shankar Ramakrishnan, Sean James Sutton, Ramesh Pisharody, Ragini Nandhawani, Andrea Jeremiah, Sandra Thomas and Poonam Bajwa in the lead roles. This big budget film is produced by Vijay Babu and Sandra Thomas under the banner of Friday Film House. It has earlier produced films like "Philips and the Monkey Pen", "Zachariahyude Garbhinikal" and "Friday." The producers will soon remake "Peruchazhi" into Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
