The State Bank of India (SBI) Clerk Mains results 2016 have been put on halt once again, creating anxiety among the candidates who have appeared for the exams. It has been more than three months since the said exams was conducted.

It was reported that the SBI Clerk Mains results 2016 would be declared on August 16 but that didn't happen. Speculations were then rife that it would be announced on September 30, but the state-run bank announced the SBI PO finals exams results instead and didn't utter a word on the Mains Results 2016.

The results could have been delayed because of the government's pending decision on whether interviews should be conducted for recruitment of clerical posts.

Now the SBI Clerk Mains results 2016 are expected to be declared in the next few days. Candidates can check the results on the bank's official website once the results are announced.

The State Bank of India conducted the Clerk Mains exams on June 25 and 26, 2016, for candidates who had cleared the preliminary examinations. Successful candidates will be recruited as clerks or junior associates (JA) and junior agricultural associates (JAA).
