Avika Gor, the "Balika Vadhu" of Colors, will bid adieu to her show "Sasural Simar Ka." Avika, who plays the role of Roli, has decided to quit the show, as she is busy with her film projects.

"Sasural Simar Ka" is one of the popular shows on Colors channel. Avika has been a part of the show since its inception, but now her stint as Roli will end. Her contract with the show will end in March and she will not renew it.

"Avika's contract for the show is ending in March 2016, and in most probability it will not be renewed. She is happy with the show but has movies lined up down South. Allocating shooting dates is a problem hence, ultimately she will move out of Sasural next month," Tellychakkar quoted a source as saying.

When asked Avika about it, she confirmed the reports and told the daily that she would want her character to die instead of someone replacing her. "Yes, I have quit Sasural. Ideally, I would like my character Roli to be killed as RoSid means a lot to me," she told Tellychakkar.

While Avika wants her character to die, the makers of the show want to keep her character alive. "Bigg Boss 9" contestant Digangana Suryavanshi was approached to play Avika's role, but she refused to take the offer.

"Yes, I was approached for the show. It is a very good show and has been on-air for a while now. But I couldn't take up 'Sasural Simar Ka' as I have couple of other offers lined-up. I have a surprise and my fans will get to know soon," Digangana told The Times of India.
