The Punjabi film, directed by Rohit Jugraj, opened to packed houses in India, trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted on Friday. "Much-awaited Punjabi film #SardaarJi2 starts with a bang... Opens to packed houses... Screen count: India 350 screens, Overseas 200 screens," Adarsh tweeted.
The entertaining drama, which was released on June 24, features Diljit in a double role, while Sonam Bajwa and Monica Gill are the female lead actresses. Unlike its first instalment "Sardaarji," the Diljit-starrer is not fantasy drama.
