"Sardaar Ji" ("Sardar Ji"), which was released in theatres on 26 June, had opened to positive response and continued to keep bells ringing.

The Diljit Dosanjh-Mandy Takhar-Neeru Bajwa starrer has registered remarkable growth, crossing ₹30 crore mark at the worldwide box office in nine days. The film also collected about ₹8.21 crore at the domestic box office in its opening weekend.

It was released in over 106 cinema halls in the US, the UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, where there is a significant Punjabi diaspora, and collected approximately ₹5.91 crore ($930,388) overseas in the first weekend.

Due to reduced ticket prices, "Sardaar Ji" witnessed a drop in its business on Monday (29 June), but its collection was much bigger than other big-ticket films.

On week days, it collected approximately ₹7.23 crore at the domestic office, taking its first-week total to ₹15.43 crore. The film earned ₹3.59 crore overseas on the week days and its first-week international total stood at ₹9.50 crore.

The Rohit Jugraj directorial raked in ₹24.93 crore at the worldwide box office in the first week. The movie became the highest grosser Punjabi film in the first week in 2015.

On its second Friday, the film witnessed over 50% drop in its business, but yet it was a very good business for a Punjabi film. The film showed a big leap in its numbers on its second Saturday. It has reportedly collected over ₹3 crore in India on these two days.

The film has also kept the cash register ringing at the international box office in the second week. It grossed approximately ₹2.15 crore at the overseas box-office on its second Friday and Saturday.

"Sardaar Ji" has collected ₹18.43 crore in India and ₹11.65 crore in international markets so far. Its nine-day global collection stands at ₹30.08 crore.
