Allu Arjun's "Sarainodu" (also spelled as Sarrainodu) has raked in decent collection at the worldwide box office collection. It surpassed the mark of Rs. 70 crore in the global market in seven days.

The pre-release hype and promotion helped "Sarainodu" register decent advance booking for its opening day. The movie was released in over 1600 theatres across the globe on April 22 and witnessed very good response everywhere. The film collected a good amount at the worldwide box office on the first day and became the biggest opener for Allu Arjun and director Boyapati Srinu.

"Sarainodu" received mixed response from viewers and critics, who were happy with Allu Arjun's performance, but expressed displeasure over Srinu's story. Trade experts predicted that the word of mouth would take a toll on its business on the following days. But to their surprise, the movie maintained rock-steady hold and collected approximately Rs. 48 crore gross at the worldwide box office in the first weekend.

When compared to its collection on Friday, its business dropped by over 50 percent on Monday and it fared well on the following weekdays. "Sarainodu" collected approximately Rs 24 crore at the worldwide box office on the weekdays and its seven-day global gross total stands at Rs. 72 crore. Made on a budget of Rs 50 crore, "Sarainodu" has fetched Rs. 53.40 crore to its producers from the sale of its worldwide theatrical rights. The Allu Arjun and Rakul Preet starrer has earned Rs. 45.72 crore for its distributors in seven days. It has beaten the collection records of "Srimantudu" in areas like Nellore, Vizag and Ceeded and stands next to "Bahubali: the Beginning."
