Running out of juice in your smartphone? Samsung has a feasible solution for you. As a new way to attract new customers, Samsung installed free solar-powered mobile charging stations across Bengaluru, where people can charge their multi-brand phones. With these stations, Samsung is looking to demonstrate its products while people charge their mobile devices.

The solar chargers require low maintenance. The 300 KW power capacity can fuel up to 20 mobile phones, Samsung said. "We have set up a free solar-powered charging facility in Bengaluru. This is the first such initiative by Samsung. Any smartphone user can avail the facility. With a significant market share in the IT city, we want to provide a better experience for smartphone users," Asim Warsi, vice-president of Marketing, IT & Mobile at Samsung India, said in a statement, according to India Today.
