Samsung Inc's entry-level Galaxy Pocket Neo smartphone is now available in India through various online retailers like Infibeam for ₹7,130.

The Android handset which was unveiled along with Galaxy Star earlier in April is making a late debut in the subcontinent. The Samsung Galaxy Star smartphone which also packs similar features of Neo Pocket was released in the market in May.

On the specifications front, Galaxy Pocket Neo features a 3-inch QVGA TFT LCD screen, 850MHz processor along with 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 32GB using a microSD card, support for Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and A-GPS, 2-megapixel rear camera, Android Jelly Bean operating system, dual-SIM capability, 1,200mAh battery, and comes with Samsung's TouchWiz UI.

According to its listing on Infibeam.com, the smartphone is originally priced ₹7,340 and is available for purchase with a discount of ₹210.

On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy Star is available for an official price of ₹5,240. It sports a 2.9-inch TFT QVGA screen with 320x240p display resolution and runs on the Android mobile 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. It is powered by a 1GHz single-core Cortex-A5 processor and comes with 512MB RAM and internal memory of 4GB which can be further expanded up to 32GB through microSD support.
