It's been over a month since the Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) and Galaxy J7 (2016) were released in China, but these mid-range devices have not hit the Indian stores yet. When will Samsung release these devices in India? The company hasn't revealed the availability of 2016 versions of Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 in India, but it should happen soon.

The South Korean technology giant hasn't revealed the release date of the Galaxy J5 (2016) and Galaxy J7 (2016) in India, but its support pages have been spotted on Samsung India's website, hinting at its possible launch in the country very soon, reported Android Headlines. The handsets were also spotted on Zauba, a website that keeps a track of imports and exports in India. 

The Galaxy J5 (2016) and Galaxy J7 (2016) have been released in South Korea, a month after they were launched in China. The Galaxy J5 (2016) has been priced at 290,000 Won (around $254), and the Galaxy J7 (2016) is costs 363,000 Won (around $318). Samsung hasn't announced the price of the devices in India, but going by the pricing in its home country, the Galaxy J5 (2016) could be priced at around Rs. 16,500, and the Galaxy J7 (2016) at about Rs. 20,600.

The Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) Black Edition is currently up for grabs in France. The device is available on Amazon France for €284.68 (around $325), but Samsung has officially released the device to only China and South Korea. 

The Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) comes with a metal frame, sports a 5.2-inch HD Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 720x1,280 pixels (282 ppi pixel density), measures 145.8x72.3x8.1 mm in dimension and weighs 159 g. It has a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, an Android 5.1 Lollipop, a 16GB internal memory (expandable up to 128GB via microSD card), a 2GB RAM, a 13MP main camera with features like f/1.9 aperture, 28mm, autofocus and LED flash, a 5MP front-snapper with f/1.9 aperture and LED flash, and a 3,100mAh battery.

The Galaxy J7 (2016) has a metal frame, sports a 5.5-inch full HD Super AMOLED touchscreen with 1,080x1,920 pixels (401 ppi pixel density), measures 151.7x76x7.8 mm in dimension and weighs 170 g. It is powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core processor and it runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop.

The device comes packed with a 16GB internal memory (expandable up to 128GB via microSD card), a 3GB RAM, a 13MP main camera with f/1.9 aperture, 28mm, autofocus and LED flash, a 5MP front-snapper with f/1.9 aperture and LED flash, and a 3,300mAh battery.
