It is reported that Samsung will float a new product line from C series, that the Galaxy C5 and Galaxy C7 could be the first to be released, but it appears like the former will be launched before the latter if leaked information is anything to go by.

Several details of the Galaxy C5 have been leaked over the last few weeks, but nothing has been heard of the Galaxy C7. Both devices are expected to be released in May but the Galaxy C7 launch could come at a later date.

Interestingly, many pictures, purportedly of the Galaxy C5, have been published online, and the latest is from popular leakster Steve Hemmerstoffer, aka @OnLeaks.

The Galaxy C5 looks good in the pictures posted by Steve Hemmerstoffer. It is seen with a metal body and a typical Samsung design.

French website NoWhereEsle and MyDrivers had earlier posted pictures rumoured to be of Samsung Galaxy C5.

The South Korean technology giant is tight-lipped on its upcoming budget smartphone, but a device with model number SM-C5000 and 5.2-inch screen has been spotted on Zauba, a website that tracks imports and exports in India, hinting that its release may not be far off. The handset with model number SM-C5000 is believed to be the Galaxy C5.

According to Geekbench benchmark, the Galaxy C5 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 SoC clocking 1.5GHz, and have Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, an Adreno 405 GPU and 4GB RAM.
