Telugu movie "S/O (Son of) Satyamurthy" is cruising to become the biggest Telugu film ever released in the United States. The Allu Arjun starrer has managed to reach the $1million mark in the country in four days, the highest for a Telugu movie. 

It is also the second film in 2015 to reach the landmark figure in box office collections; the earlier movie to do so was Jr NTR starrer "Temper", in six days. "Temper" was released in 130 screens across the US whereas the Allu Arjun movie was released in 153 screens. 

Industry analyst Taran Adarsh has hinted that the movie might break records soon.

"S/O Satyamurthy" also became the second-highest grossing Telugu flick from its premier shows, earning ₹ 3.01 crore in the first two days itself.

Besides "Temper", eleven Telugu movies had reached the $1 million mark in box office collections in the US. These include "Attarintiki Daredi" , "Aagadu", "Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu", "1: Nenokkadine", "Race Gurram", "Manam", "Baadshah", " Gabbar Singh", " Eega" and "Dookudu".

For actress Samantha Prabhu, it's her fifth movie to achieve such a feat after "Attarintiki Daredi", "Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu", "Manam" and "Dokudu". For Allu Arjun, this is his second movie after "Race Guram". For director Trivikram too, it is his second movie to reach the landmark figure, after "Attarintiki Daredi".
