YU Televentures' Yureka Plus smartphone will go on sale once again tomorrow, 26 August, continuing the trend of flash sales in India. The Rs 8,999 handset will be available exclusively on Amazon India only for registered buyers.

The Yureka Plus flash sale will commence at 12 noon and the demand for the handset will make the stock last for not more than few minutes.

The Yureka Plus flash sale is happening on the same day and at the same time as the Lenovo K3 Note sale. This is a great challenge for the Chinese smartphone maker after YU slashed the price of its handset to attract more buyers. The Lenovo K3 Note and YU Yureka Plus were priced at Rs 9,999 until YU offered a permanent price cut of Rs 1,000 on its handset earlier this month.

Fresh registrations for the Yureka Plus flash sale tomorrow are closed now but interested buyers can register for next week's sale slated to be held on 2 September.

YU Yureka Plus makes for a true rival to the Lenovo K3 Note by packing competitive specs. The handset is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, 2GB DDR3 RAM and 16GB expandable memory up to 32GB. The Yureka Plus features a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection and oleophobic coating.

On the camera side, Yureka Plus comes with a powerful 13-megapixel rear shooter with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. There's also a 5MP front snapper to take care of your selfies. The handset runs on a 2,500mAh battery that lasts up to 8 hours on talk time and has dual SIM with LTE support.

As for the handset's software, Yureka Plus takes advantage of Micromax's exclusive ties with Cyanogen to run Cyanogen OS 12 based on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop. All these features are offered at a reasonable price of Rs. 8,999. Buyers can choose from Moondust grey or Alabastar White hues.

The flash sales work entirely on first-come first-serve basis, hence there is no way you can reserve the handset. If you wish to order one, you need to log on to minutes before the sale begins at 12 noon and place the order as soon as the handset is available.
