French auto maker Renault inaugurated its 190th dealership in the country in Karimnagar, Telengana.

With this, the company now has 52 showrooms in South India, besides 37 service-only outlets. Renault plans to open 240 dealerships and service facilities in India by 2016.

"With the overwhelming response to the Renault KWID, we are moving closer to our customers and providing them the best from Renault. We are confident that our growing network will cater to the increasing demand for Renault cars and help customers enjoy an enhanced ownership experience," said Rafael Treguer, Vice President, sales and marketing, Renault India, according to Business Standard.

Renault, which launched its new Kwid, the entry level small car in India, has been getting tremendous response in the country. The company has also increased the production of the Kwid due to the rising demand.
