Unveiled in May, Kwid hatchback is expected to be priced between Rs 3 lakh and Rs 4 lakh. Renault's small car will be seeking to challenge the dominance of Maruti Alto and Hyundai Eon in the Indian small car market.

Built on Renault-Nissan's CMF-A modular platform, Kwid hatchback is likely to include the small car segment's first ever touchscreen Media-Nav Navigation System with a seven-inch display, digital instrument console, alloy wheels, chrome door handles, chrome touched tail lights, roof rails and side body cladding.

The power will stem from its 800 cc three-cylinder petrol mills, which is expected to churn out 57bhp power and the transmission will be taken care of by either a five-speed gearbox or AMT.
Renault Kwid, the small car with SUV-like design, is expected to deliver good fuel efficiency and has 180mm of ground clearance.
