Renault has unveiled the Duster Extreme Concept at the ongoing Sao Paulo Auto Show developed in conjunction with the Renault Design Latin America (RDAL) based in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

As the name suggest, the concept is a full-blown off-road machine with sports utility materials, sports equipment and high-performance accessories for extreme off-road conditions. Based on the Duster 2.0-litre with all-wheel-drive, the Duster Extreme Concept's off-road prowess is further accentuated with off-road tires, winch at the front bumper, of fender reamers, side rack and ladder on the side, all used for advanced level of off-road expeditions. The concept also comes with raised suspension and rack ceiling with LED bar light.

The concept gets a gray paint and accessories in red that reminds mountain rescue vehicles in South America. Inside, the upholstery has been finished in black with and red accents. The Extreme and 4WD badging has been incorporated at the dashboard and steering wheel, respectively.

Renault globally sells Duster Adventure edition which is also off-road biased model. However, Adventure edition is not an outright off-road machine like the Extreme Concept. Renault India has recently launched the Duster Adventure edition priced at Rs 9,64,575, ex-showroom Delhi.

The Adventure edition comes with a slew of new features like new set of lamps mounted on the nudge guard, glossy black front grille and rear embellish, gun metal finish alloy wheels, wheel arch and door cladding, new mustard yellow roof rails and skid plates. It also boasts of new Adventura denim interiors with 'zip on and zip off' seat covers which can be washed. Complementing new interior is the black fabric on door trims with contrast stitching, a two-tone steering wheel and floor mats with denim trimmings.
